Working with the hotel’s existing brand identity, the goal was to translate its distinctive character into a digital experience that felt both playful and refined. The branding includes bold patterns and quirky visual elements, so the challenge was to incorporate these features into the website in a way that felt sophisticated rather than overwhelming.
The design needed to highlight the hotel’s personality while still presenting it as a premium boutique destination.
The website design balances bold branding with a clean, structured layout. Decorative patterns and graphic elements from the brand are integrated throughout the site as subtle accents, adding character and visual interest without distracting from the core content. This approach allows the personality of the hotel to come through while maintaining a polished and upscale feel.
Strong photography plays a central role in the site, showcasing the rooms, interiors and coastal surroundings. Dedicated sections allow visitors to explore the hotel experience in detail, from accommodation and facilities through to dining and local attractions along the North Coast.
Because the hotel includes multiple hospitality experiences within one venue, the site also highlights the restaurant and cocktail bar as distinct destinations in their own right. The restaurant section uses elements of its own visual identity while still fitting naturally within the overall website structure.
To support the business operationally, the website was integrated with the hotel’s booking systems and management software, allowing guests to check availability and make reservations seamlessly. This ensures the website functions not only as a marketing tool but also as a key part of the hotel’s booking process.
Additional sections promote special offers, upcoming events and activities around the North Coast, helping the hotel position itself as a base for exploring the wider area while encouraging guests to make the most of their stay.
Since launching alongside the opening of the hotel in 2020, Elephant Rock Hotel has gone on to become a multi-award-winning destination. The website continues to support the hotel’s reputation by presenting its unique brand and guest experience in a way that feels engaging, refined and memorable.
