Blackrock Beach House required a distinctive identity and a website that would properly showcase the property’s unique setting and high-end facilities. The goal was to present the accommodation as a premium destination while making it easy for visitors to explore the space and book their stay.
From the outset, the focus was on creating a brand that felt both refined and memorable, supported by a website designed to highlight the property’s striking interiors, coastal location and exceptional attention to detail.
The logo design drew inspiration directly from the building itself. The distinctive stonework of the property became the basis for a subtle pattern within the branding, helping the identity feel closely connected to the physical space. The colour palette was influenced by the tones found within the house, incorporating soft greys and blues alongside a distinctive vardo blue accent to create a calm and elegant visual style. To ensure the brand felt unique, the typography within the logo was carefully customised, giving it a modern yet sophisticated character.
With the brand established, the website design focused on presenting the property through strong photography and a smooth, immersive browsing experience. Large imagery, refined scrolling effects and subtle hover transitions help convey the sense of luxury visitors can expect from their stay. Typography was chosen to reinforce this feel, pairing the classic serif typeface Playfair Display with a clean sans-serif font to create a balanced and elegant layout.
Beyond visual presentation, the site was also designed to support discovery and bookings. A blog section highlights attractions in the surrounding area, including coastal experiences and local golf tourism, helping to strengthen the site’s search visibility while giving visitors helpful inspiration for their trip. The booking system was integrated directly into the website, allowing guests to move seamlessly from browsing the property to completing their reservation.
To complement the digital experience, we also produced a printed brochure that mirrors the style of the website. The brochure provides a beautifully presented guide to the accommodation, using carefully considered layouts and photography to showcase the unique character of the property and its surroundings.
